My mother being Dutch-speaking, I have always spoken Dutch at home. I later graduated in Dutch as an industrial engineer in electromechanics from the Catholic Industrial High School in Gent, Belgium.

As I later worked at the Dutch site of the European Patent Office in The Hague for one-and-a-half year, I also have kept practicing the language actively.

I consequently fluently read and use technical Dutch.
