Mozilla  Netscape's Open Source heir. My choice after much searching. An odd name for a superb email client and Internet browser, offering :
- Integrated spam control and email filtering (best solution I tried)
- Many languages for menus and email spell-checkers (very handy)
- Sign & encrypt with integrated S/MIME. Enigmail module for PGP/GPG.
- Window & tab browsing (my middle button opens links in new tabs: great!)
- Choice of appearance "skins" (my choice: Orbit)
- Versions for all OS's (Windows, Mac, Linux, Unix, etc.)
- Mozilla recovers all your existing mails, addresses and favourites
- Open Source = NO fees, adds, tricks / YES stable, versatile, support
